Final Performance Results: Unmatched Air-Tightness & Structural Strength
Airtight
The final test results achieved an exceptional 0.10 cfm/sq ft air infiltration rating at 1.57 psf, classifying this door as “extraordinarily airtight.”
Watertight
The door gasket system allowed no uncontrolled water penetration during a 15 minute water test with an 8.0 psf pressure differential and water spray from the outside at 5 gal/hr/ft2.
Hurricane Ready
Structural testing confirmed that the door withstands up to 75 psf positive and negative pressure, which equates to winds of 255 mph—exceeding hurricane-force wind speeds.
Rock Solid
Even under the extreme structural wind loads, deflections were measured in the thousandths of an inch, ensuring long-term durability and stability.
